WebDaptive 2009 is here!

September9

I’m excited to announce that QAT WebDaptive 2009 was released today! QAT’s successful web integration framework got more than a visual makeover: Supporting our customers with integrating WebDaptive in their unique environments gave us many ideas of how to improve that process. Just a few highlights:

In the Web Framework, you can:

  • register background functions to be called in regular intervals
  • have main content frame perform automatic housekeeping for you, like resizing the frame to fit the contents and canceling AJAX callbacks in the page scope.
  • configure start-up links to launch a specific WebDaptive page with predefined parameters from outside WebDaptive (like from an email link)

WebDaptive 2009 also includes the beta release of our build script for combining and minimizing JavaScript files for a production release to improve performance.

The back end was updated as well: The WebDaptive Session Service now supports categorizing session keys so they can be set, retrieved and deleted together.

So please check out the official release statement and let us know what you think!
